Regional Short Haul
Count on Metropolitan's Regional Short Haul
service for shuttles, inner-city, and intrastate
deliveries. This rapidly growing division of
Metropolitan features 24 hours-a-day freight
management, multiple pick-up and delivery service
and same day pickup and delivery. Our regional
fleets are strategically located in the Northeast
and the Midwest.
Metropolitan provides a full range of dedicated services to our customers including on-site management, dedicated equipment, skilled drivers and technology. Another option is for our customers to have the sole and exclusive use of Metropolitan's equipment and drivers on a full-time basis. We supply the equipment and drivers while our customers control and direct their usage within normal guidelines.
Brokerage
In order to better service our customers and insure
a higher degree of reliability, Metropolitan's brokerage
division concentrates on developing relationships
with carriers based on quality, not quantity. While
our competition may claim to use thousands of carriers,
we believe in limiting the amount of carriers we employ
to provide the service standards associated with Metropolitan
Trucking.
